Hmmmmm Christmas??

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas???

Well we have had snow, for about 40mins in Friday we had lots of snow flurries! It didn't lie because of all rain we've had the past few days but it was SNOWING woohoo

Anyways, I've been having a wee play with Gilding Wax, ehhhh trying that is! I've seen all the amazing results you can get with it and wanted to try, so plucked up the courage to open a jar!!

Ok, be honest, what do you think??
I tried but think I was too heavy handed with it but still enjoyed having a play! Think I'll try it on black card next time

All the pieces are from Sara's Signature range Festive Wonder, the Embossing Folder that I love, Snowflake die and the sentiment too! I used Centura Pearl touch of silver, some silver card, pearls and silver cord to finish it off!

I would like to enter the following Challenges
Craft for the Craic - Something Glittery
MAWTT - My Favourite Things SNOWFLAKES
A Snowflakes Promise - Christmas/Winter Theme

Will off to dig out the black card and see what I come up with
Happy Sunday everyone

Mr Hoppity ...... who???

Afternoon all

Thanks for popping by today and maybe saying a wee "hello"!
I'm enjoying some for crafting for me today and even popped open the Christmas stuff ekkkkkk its not long now! Got to get started some time

One of my lovely friends a fellow Die'sire teamy asked me to crochet her a wee bunny character for her granddaughter! Of course I jumped at the chance but I had never heard of Mr Hoppity ............. but I love a challenge!!

So it turns out this wee guy is from a kids TV show and very popular too!
The pattern I found was not the best and at times made no sense, so good old "make it up" came into some of it! Not bad if I do say so myself heee

Before I posted the wee guy off I made a wee card of course to pop in the parcel and even got the Spectrum Noirs out to colour it!

I've been practising ..... can you tell??

Papers used were Simple Stories Life Documented from the fab Hey Little Magpie and the Spectrum Noir colours I used were
Skin - FS2, TN2, FS5, FS6
Hair - EB8, EB5, GB10
Others - DR7, DR5, TN9, TN5, JG3

I would like to enter the following Challenges
Cute as a Button - Anything Goes
Craft your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Creative Fingers -  Anything Goes

Well off to make something a little bit Special
